The A21 challenge found out about human trafficking about 4 years ago. Becoming more equipped through volunteering at A21 and now working for A21, I realised when I was 17 years of age, I viewed an add that advertised: "Au Pair in America, flight paid for, accommodation paid for.....," everything would have been paid for and training would be provided. Looking back with the knowledge I have been equipped with, I could have been a part of the more than 27 million slaves in the world today, not having the choice of freedom. I have seen over the years so many victims becoming survivors and it is worth fighting for the one or helping to prevent people from being trafficked. So with all that said, I am taking on the challenge to run my very first 21km. I want to invite you on the journey and play a part to help abolish human trafficking in South Africa.I would like 1000 people to each donate A21 or more in the support of A21 before I finish the Two Oceans Half Marathon. Know more about A21 by visiting. www.a21.org. Thank you for your support and looking forward being with you on the journey and making an impact over the next few months.
